me and big worm went and checked it out yesterday we found an OK spot it was better then anything else we found but if someone else finds something sick well go to that spot the spot we found will be like a last resort

I am pretty sure I know exactly where you guys are talking about. Its right by my grandparents property in Lake Mathews. I have been through that area a few times. You basically take Cajalco and turn on Lake Mathews Drive. Take it all the the way up a windy hill, and as you get to the top it will make a left hand turn and then turn into a LONG stretch of straight road. Right when you hit the start of the long straight section there is a turn off to the right. There are stone pillars that look like they used to be a gated community, but its all run down now. If you go in there there is a somewhat large open area that has a whole bunch of trails, but its nothing that is too much fun. there are trails all over the place, most lead to a place where people go and shoot, or illegally dump there trash. There is one access road that goes down a hill, and you have to cross a little river and like a little mini forest. Actually a pretty cool place to check out, just not the greatest for romping around. Anyways if you go through the forest you will actually get to a legitimate shooting range. Its always closed off and I have never seen anyone shooting there EVER. There is a trail that leads you above the range and there are signs that say not to stop in that area due to the shooting range being below you. I have taken these access roads all the way back through Gavilan Springs area, and even found my way to the 15 fwy and Lake Street exit. However we were stopped by a locked gate, and by then it was dark and foggy so i had to creep my way back home instead of finding another way around.

Like I said its a cool place to check out, but no jumps or anything that I know of. Not the greatest spot for a large meet.

I won't be able to go to this trip as me and a bunch of friends are planning a trip out to Lucerne that weekend.

Here is the basic area I am talking about. If you look at the map there is a dirt road heading West called Arcero Rd. If you follow it west until it makes a 90* turn heading south, that is the road that leads down to the forest, and meets up with Dawson Canyon Road, keep following Dawson Canyon west from there and it hits the shooting range, which is visible from the map.

i went to gavilan springs with my bro yesterday and we couldn't seem to find any decent jumps but the area was still pretty cool but i think a meet would be boring without a jump.

so if anyone wants to change it to colton im down but of course im down for wherevers

This is the exact spot i was talking about. And yes after checking it out it is not a very good spot for a large meet. I say we go to colton it is a fun spot there is sand and also some hills that are fun to play in.
