Thread: cal city for thanksgiving???

Headed out Wednesday night or Thursday morning with ilovesand on here. Usually have a big camp. Anyone else going out? Hoping to put a lot of miles on the trucks.

Where are you guys going to camp? I was going to head out to barstow or el mirage or somewehre close to cal city with one other buddy.

TacomaT- Where you camping? I'll most likely be there thursday mid-day and stay till friday morn. and just have fun driving around, all my friends lately have been all show and no go so it'd be fun to actually go out with someone whos actually going to go out and drive their truck...

I wanna say ill be in camp b. I have a map at home. I got last year from the rangers when they stopped me to check my tags lol. I know where it is but not what its technically called Haha ill get you more info bud.

Fersure man. I have on idea where the designated camps actually are or how their labeled or anything tho, I always just drove down twords silver saddle and picked whatever dirt road looked the funnest that day. I'm gonna have to find a map or something myself haha.

No map, fml. I come off 395 onto 20 mule team road, head about 3-5 miles and take a left off the road, and we are out there somewhere. I will try to find it online.

yeah, your coming from a comopletely different direction from me lol. I'll try and gps "mule team rd." see what comes up and wing it lol.
If you see a big ass torn apart ford flag over the brush, honk or hit some lights or something, get my attention.

the road is actually cuddleback rd on the gps. Then a mile in it turn into 20 mule team rd. Turns out ill be solo, truck wise. Everyone has bikes. No other trucks are going anymore. I will prob take my truck to ransburg one of the days.

Theres a few people from my work going now too.
Apparently some high position inspector from my work will be there and someone told me where he's gonna be camping...
Can't wait to go do doughnuts around his camp at 10 am

haha that will be funny. Bad news, Not going anymore. Water pump on the truck went out, fixed it and had a stupid tow fee, and now im broke with no play money. Sucks. But my buddy is still going, white colorado, black wheels, LT up front, super sleeper. Not sure what his plan is but keep an eye out for him.
