Thread: West Covina / Covina / Walnut / Hacienda Heights / La Puente / Azusa (626) Prerunners...

im new here and was looking to meet new people with prerunners. everybody at my school drives ricers or stock cars that they dont care about. i just got my license and drive an 84yota that is a daily driver and is fun to mess around with. does anybody live in or around the covina/azusa/glendora area that would like to meet up?

im 17 going on 18 to had my license for 2 yrs no accidents just build there trust,dont do anything stupid and they will let you do whatever you want. i got a truck a bike and can go out riding or to the dez whenever.im pretty sure thats all it is

lol when i saw the title of this thread i was like "coivna" wtf is that? it sounds like covina where my GF lives... lol you might see me cruising thru "coivna" every now and again. I live in san dimas.

i think i might have seen you yesturday. did you drive past azusa ave on cypress around 2:15? i saw a caged ranger with 2spares in the bed.

i know what you mean, several people have told me that. i also have a dirtbike and truck and i want to take them out NOW and my parents dont like me going unless im going with the family. GRRRR

every friday (i think) there is a ricer meet at the wienerschnitzel on azusa ave. it would be cool to have one right across the street at berts mega mall some friday. would only be funny if it was HUGE though. but if anybody feels like meeting at berts or somewhere else just to chill let me know.

Also, any close places good for taking a truck out for a spin?

94 Ford Ranger, 5.0, Camburg LT front and back.

Don't know of any places around here, although I've never bothered to look. Lucerne and Barstow isn't that far.

Nice truck.. I was originally looking for a white ranger. So I think I read in a thread somewhere you have a 5.0 in there, that right?

Anywhere specific in Barstow... I haven't been there in a while. Took it to Ocotillo recently, but thats a pretty long drive.

rincon trail up in azusa canyon...not really a "prerunner" type trail, more slow speed, but 2wd is no problem. you have to get a code for the gate from the ranger station, but it's free.

been on it many times....last time it was a bit rutted out in one spot, we had to put our jeep in 4wd

right by downtown... san barnidino and citrus..

i saw your truck parked at covina high last friday. was driving by around 2:30 and saw your light bar sticking up and thought damn somebody drives a nice prerunner, why cant anybody have one at northview

I know there is a covina? thread, but I figured this may be a good idea... how about posting up a few pics of some members local to 626... could be plenty of cities not shown on the title of the thread...

How about some pics of your rides.... I see plenty of prerunners in the area, how about putting a name to some of those trucks.

Also if anyone is interested in a meet, I'd be happy to help set something up. Did a search and didn't really want to jump all over the (covina?) thread.


About my truck... bought it from some guy in La Habra about a month ago, nice truck... but plan on doing alot more to it.

Putting a name to those trucks and don't even put my name....

Name is Richard... Been pretty into my sandrails for a few years now, been wanting to get into one of these trucks for a few years now... looking for a few new places to check out... within a couple of hours drive would be cool.

Yeah thats right, had it there a few weeks back... bad install though... everything came loose about 15 minutes into my first trip out to ocotillo wells... Just finished redoing everything that shop did.

So what's been done to your truck... looks pretty sick.

front is jd fab 4x4 lt kit hope soon switch it out for a gen 3 kit and back is deaver pack wit wit fuel cell full cage cab back, we should head out one day to take the trucks out
