    Default October Superstition Run

Just wanting to see who all would be interested in a DR meet up in Superstition, in October, to kick off the season. Dates are up in the air, we may have to do a poll for that. Throwing it out way in advance so everyone can plan/prep.

The best camp site out there is towards the end of Wheeler road right below a big dune. It's a great place for trucks and it's really easy to trek it all the way out to the plaster plant from there (10 miles or so).

    Who's interested?

If it's gone I'm sure we could work out another trailer.

Definitely planning on a large scale BBQ also, hell lets pitch in on a keg while we are at it.

Yeah, superstition is just the hill area north of Plaster City. Last time I was out I made the run from the camp site I mentioned, to the plaster plant in about a half hour (trails).

When is the cleanup? That may have to be the day/weekend.

Just checking things out and it looks like the Drive clean up is on the 31st (sat) and there is a D38 race the next day. I honestly don't want to be out there when a race is going on. Maybe we should shoot for early October so everyone can have some time to re-coup and get back out on the 31st for the clean up (or Glamis/Vegas etc.).

early to mid october would be good idea. Since it's so much warning ahead I can definitely make it as long as I know the confirmed date like 2+ weeks beforehand.
