Not sure, It would be awesome if posible to do the one vertical bar in the cab then do the X on the back on the down tubes. Def would save some head room. I'm sure 99% of the time it wouldnt be a problem but there is that 1% chance. Also would make wearing helmets always needed with a bar that close or at least thats how I feel.

why not have all of the B pillar tubes be external? then you don't have to worry about any vertical bars in the back of the cab

You would only have to cut 2 small holes above your frame rails.

I'm on my phone so can't draw a pic. But I was talking about putting diagonals in a x behind the cab from the corners where the tube comes out the cab and intersecting and hitting the frame right behind the cab. I hope that makes sense. Pretty much putting the x behind the cab.

pretty sure 93tcyota did it on his. not sure if he still has a bed, though. in all honesty, the extra 3-4" you move all the diagonals behind the cab is such a negligible amount that it will really not decrease the strength.

Like said, no interested in external b pillar.

That's why I asked a specific question and not about external b pillars. I know those are legal and work.

I just re-read your original question and can finally picture it in my head. that would be pretty cool.
