    Default sleeper prerunners

i was just thinking about trucks that look as stock as possible with badass work done to them suspension wise. i only remember seeing one titan that looked very stock(there glass fits so nicely it looks stock) but had all kinds of cool shit. if you got pics throw em up. i know some shit is gonna be obvious, like trackwidth and flared fenders, but some people do it so nicely it looks so stock. lets see em

nice yota, but im lookin for things like stock bumpers, bed cover or under the bed rear setup. something a non experienced person would think is just a truck with bigger tires

I don't have pictures, but steveG has a bronco that looks like it did back in the 80s, and he had an explorer before that looked nearly stock.

i have seen a few that if you saw the picture on google instead of dr, you woulda thought it was a stock truck at glance, and you actually had to look to notice it wasnt. ive only seen 2 or 3 ever. i just think if done correctly it looks awsome and has a cool factor. like some bro in hiss 12 in+ lifted f1 at the dunes rolls up to you thinking your in a stock truck and you proceed to tear as through whoops that he has to idle through...that kinda cool factor

Fully build a ranger.. Then slap on a stock older gen f-150 body. BAM a stock bodied truck that can cycle up to/over 18" travel. Bonus points for rusty fenders.

My old ranger. Please disregard the shitty bumper on the front in the pic of the front beams. That was done by the 4th owner of the truck. I was the second owner.

You're thinking of Micheal's truck, bunch of photos here Total Chaos Uniball Long Travel Suspension System for 84-95 Toyota 2WD

It's less of a sleeper since he built the front bumper and stopped running the shell full time, and if you know about prerunners you see the bypasses and know something's up.

Keith's white Tundra is still rocking the stock bumper, and is a real sleeper. Total Chaos Long Travel Suspension System for 00-06 Toyota Tundra If he painted the suspension black and pulled the stickers, you'd think it's just a Tundra with a leveling kit, until it blows your doors off.

Ritcher Racing built a rad F1 a couple years ago, not total sleeper status, but had a camper shell and looked pretty mild, you definitely wouldn't guess it was half as cool as it really was if you gave it a simple glance.

Both of those guys are my best friends and I must say......Mikeys truck is a total piece of crap...hahaha...but the suspension is super nice and although its rattly and scary to ride in it handles retardedly good and with him behind the wheel. When um......you know if you know. But I agree, with the Ivan front glass and bumpers its not much of a sleeper.

Keiths truck on the other hand is a total sleeper. Sits super low and he has that thing dialed. His truck is the inspiration for my sleeper silverado.

Dont strip the truck of its usefulness & give it the capability to whoop on poorly tuned race trucks.
    Ranger is gone.
But I got a Silverado for a new project.

The Shell is only scary to ride in because the seat-belts don't really work, and the bench seat is blown out. It is however impossible not to smile when you're riding in it, it's just a goddamn silly truck, and Micheal takes every bonus line he can find.

This is my old truck we named it Lil' Sleepy. Has more desert miles on her than most race trucks. No fiberglass all stock sheetmetal is skinned tailgate also. king co's up front with bumps on stock beams. king bypasses on rear. 4cyl 5 spd. Truck works amazing. Clears 33x10.5's. 12" travel up front 15" in the rear. Now she has been put out to pasture in Bakersfield, with the ocasional romp through oildale.

haha, I've met you briefly in the desert somewhere a while back. Me and my brother were checking out your truck and talked to you for a minute before you took off and then we both looked at each other and said "damn, that thing can scoot!"

the black 150 stepside gets my vote as the nicest sleeper. I would love to have something like that to drive around on the street, mine just sucks on the road anymore. too loud and it makes me sweat when I see cops.
