I know under Desert Rides show and tell it has a huge thread. He was talking about selling it as soon as it's finished. Talk about a stupid investment. If anyone has update pics, post em.

His truck was pretty nice before he sent it in to get hacked up. His plans for it seem bad ass. Hope it gets finished in time for my grandchildren to at least see it.

You cant blame him for wanting to sell, it seems to be a really common thing to have high dollar prerunners built and see them for sale. I attribute that to two reasons that I can think of since I have been going through the same thing for over a year and a half. Whatever the original budget was you have to now double it, and in a two year span priorities change so much. I went from eating sleeping and drinking desert racing to way more involved in my daughters school, I went back to work after taking a couple of years off to raise my little girls. So I could see how after two years of throwing money at something things in life could change and its easier to sell and move on. I dont plan on selling my blazer when its done but can understand how people sell right away. This is just my take on it. Dont worry I still love desert racing. Just put my family and career first these days.

Like everyone else has said, there is a huge forum on Desertrides about his truck.

Also, I always like to defend H&M when the time frame is brought up for the build of this truck. The plans for this truck have changed and grown numerous times causing the build time to laspe on and on. Booney knows this and has seemingly been very calm about the build time and has been willing to wait for it.

About selling it, for me the build process is almost more fun then using it. But I am looking forward to running my truck when its fully done.

I am still dumbfounded on the way that he is setting up that truck. IMO he should have just gotten the Hm1. He has twice the wheel travel in the rear than he does in the front and can only race 1450. But it's his money, whatever floats his boat.
