A little back story, I pulled my driveshaft a couple days ago to replace the u joint and when I did it puked a good amount fluid out like normal. After I put everything back together and spun the tire to check for binding I can hear a light "clicking" sound from the tailshaft area of the trans. It sounds like a mountain bike when its coasting if that makes any sense. It doesnt sound lethal by any means but I dont want to find out the hard way. Could this sound be caused by low trans fluid? The truck is a 97 ranger with stock driveline and trans with a 9" axle. Thanks.
