Default mid to long travel kit for ranger edge 4x4

So just got a 2001 ranger edge 4x4 and I just don't know much about rangers its my first one. I need a mid travel kit preferably but I.could possibly be down for a longtravel kits too. How much am I looking to spend?

Well there was Dixon bros its 3500 without coilovers. There is a big thread on here about people not being able to get replacement axles, it also sounds like contacting them and getting a reply is quite the challenge. Who knows maybe they have a stock pile of axles just for people buying their kits but I doubt it.
Camburg has supposedly been working on something for long while now but have not released anything. Unfortanatly for ifs 4x4 ranger owners there is really not much out there. Its too bad really other 4x4 trucks have a pretty decent amount of long travel kits available.
Best bet now would be to contact a fab shop and see what they can do. Btf would be a good starting place as I believe they to have something in the works.

If you're ok with more Midtravel numbers, we can do a kit with 300m axle shafts using stock cv's for way less than dixon's kit was and it will pull 12" travel. Similar to a lot of the total chaos 4wd travel numbers.

It's our basic edge Lt kit with 300m axles machined for the stock cv's.
4.5" wider ea. Side, 12" travel. Limited by the stock inner tripod type cv joint. We are working on more cv options, as well as full rcv axles, but they've been very noncommittal as far as dates go. So we will continue to search out other options.

Thanks for the info! I was wondering if it would be an edge kit with cv's. Thats what I would do makes sense. You have at least one guy who wants one when the time comes.

Only way it fits an xlt is if it's 4x4, he does offer a different kit for 2wd xlt's

Yes, 909-702-7462. If I don't answer, please leave a message, I will call back.
Ideally, I'd like to exchange your stock cv's so I can keep the cores in stock, but we can make something work either way.

If I did my truck over again, I'd go with a BTF front kit! Plus the front would match the BTF backhalf... Brandon will take care of you.
