Looks good. But damn that shock tab/bracket looks to be putting alot of leverage on the rear axle tubes
very tragic, but my best wishes go out to his family, may he cross the big finish line in the sky and take the over all once and for all....

Not sure if fox shox have a solid piston on their bypasses, but once a solid piston passes the last compression tube, it's goes into hydro-lock and works like a bumpstop.

That's why most trophy trucks and class 1 cars don't have bumpstops.

It runs 5000 for everything minus shocks and shock hoop. Whats sick about it is that it is all bolt on.

as in bolt on shock hoops? the arms both bolt on that is what people are usually referring to. and ya maybe the engine cages arent bolt on but thats for a reason.....bolt on shock hoops usually dont last long to serious off-road conditions

    Here is the first truck...

This truck doesn't have the same kit as the truck that was at the expo. It was a custom one-off deal.

I'll post some more info on this truck later...

No I dont need to rethink that statement. I know the owner of velocity and the only part of the kit that bolts on is the lower arms and thats it. Chris is asking 40k for the single cab

yup... I had to weld on a shock tower to mount the coilovers on my velocity kit

No shock has a solid piston - that would defeat the purpose. Bypasses can be tuned like you said for the last bypass tube to act as a bumpstop.

Lots of shocks run a solid piston. They tend to be found on older TT and such, but SAW has recently gone to a solid piston in thier bypasses. Mike Smith shocks, many others. My old ranger ran solid pucks too. Harder to tune than convetional stuff and a sharper "Q" factor, if you will. They also tend to have crappy slow speed damping but lots of big hit resistance. But hey, thanks for letting us know that no one uses solid pistons.
