Okay looking for what you guys/gals think of the Titan, its potentials its quality and if any of you have had any experience with it? Do you think it could have good potential to become a good semi desert truck and how it would be for a daily driver?

    Thanks in advance

This leveling kit for the Nissan Titan is easy to install and will raise your Titan's front end approximately 2-2.5" (depending on model and spring) making for improved appearance and better bump-absorption. The kit includes two aircraft quality 6061-T6 billet aluminum spacers, grade 8 hardware, and two progressive urethane bushings. Installation time should be under 2 hours. The only modification necessary is to enlarge the factory rubber bump-stop mounting hole for clearance of a 3/8" stud on the urethane bushing (from 9 mm to .390 - .406"). As with any lift kit, your vehicle will need to be aligned after installation of the kit. Spacer can be removed at anytime to return to factory conditions. Complete instructions for installation are included.

    $199 FOR KIT

stayed tuned, Greg will have more products for the Titan in the near future. And they will be far more functional...

All SLR Titan product will be updated to our NEW website shortly.

Sounds like your looking for a high end kit. SLR will have a 3" over 16" kit that will look like our STAGE 5. We have pin pointed all weaklinks and very excited about our new Titan Line. MOST SLR PRODUCT is 80% onroad and 20% offroad.(Each kit built to customer needs)
Our kit will be very TOW and Daily driver minded.

The truck is great. I have a SE with Tow Package and love it. Get the sport shift and Popular package.

The brakes sucks, But I have a fix in the works... Seems that all the new style floating spindle have brake issues. I think its gay to hold your hub on with the Caliper bolts...

I bought my truck and drove it for 15K without touching it. Now the time has come:angry:............

    Greg... Sweet PROGRESSIVE Bump stops....
    What U got cooking.........BUD

Kenny, Feel Free to call me if you have any questions 928-667-4757. SLR Has MAJOR Plans and will go public 05...

    Titans came up at RDC:

    RDC thread on Titans

I guess as SLR referred to, there are some brake issues:

    ------------------TrademarkTim
I worked at riverside nissan up untill last week. The brakes warp at around 10K miles (more or less depending on driver) and the first TSB nissan put out said to cut thr rotors with an on car lathe, then replace pads, then lubricate (with special grease) the section of the pad backing that rides on the torque member (connector between caliper and spindle). The new one TSB that came out says to do the same, except to not grease the pad backing, and it comes with another set of torque members, caliper slider pins, and all new bolts with some kind of yellow thread locker on them (looks like someone wrote all over them with a crayon). They still warp tho.
Had one with a bad starter (its under the intake manifold).
Had one with a messed up tranny that wouldnt shift.
Had one that you could shift into any gear manually but it would not show on the indicator in the gauge cluster.
And there are intiror pieces always falling off.
The brake issue aside, its a pretty good truck. I raced one against my truck (03 silverado 5.3) and the titan won. Its 305 hp and like 345 tq. Personally Id rather get one of the higher models with the floor shifter, they seem to be holding together better. Some of the master techs are saying that nissan will never get the brake issue resolved until a new model is made just like the brake warping problem that the z cars had back in the day.

There is a general rule -- don't buy the 1st release of ANYTHING: cars, software, girls (virgins).. You want a mature product, you'll be happier in the long run. Don't want to do the "beta-testing" & find your truck in the shop, while you're making monthly payments..that sux.

I don't know if any of you have seen that CST nissan up close. But man, those bypass valves are about 1/8" from the bulge in the tire. I'm sure with any kind of articulation, or hitting an uneven bump; that tire and valve are going to meet, and it won't be pretty.

There are no Titans racing in Corr, just pro-lites (frontiers, and they dont conpare with the frods or toyotas unless the others are penalized). Word is that maybe next year Art Schmitt may have something in the works, especially since Nissan is now a preimary sponsor of corr. I hear Bob Graham was putting together a stock full titan. And the boys over at CST will have a titan TT soon. SLR, word has it that you may be coming back to the IE to a super secret location. Let me know whats up, you'll be in my neck of the woods. I also know that Donahoe, and Total Chaos are looking into Titan stuff, But SLR is THE nissan guy. I cant wait to see you kits. Im building a semi-long travel kit for mine, no production. It will use verticle uni-balls, boxed lower and aluminum upper arms (2.5 wider per side). A single 3" coil-over and a custom, boxed upright with corrected bumpsteer. Maybe fit an airbump in there, but its designed to go back to compeletly stock. By next week it will have a modified set of SAW coil-overs on it, has foxes on the back now) It will be a total street queen. As least for now.

What is the wheel travel and what size tire are u gonna run? Keep it on the street, keep it nice. I wish I had a Titan...Id buy yer kit but never take it off road. Maybe to tow though....if u can shoot me a couple piks Id love to see them!

Im gonna do all this because I have a small winky. No intelligent reason, just to try and be more cool than the next lifted truck.
