Default So im thinking about buying this truck

im looking to buy my first truck and one of my buddys is selling his ranger, his asking price is pretty steep in my opinion, he said he would cut me a deal and sell it to me for 2800, but that still seems high. Its clean as fuck though. It kbb's for like 2k in excelent condition.

Heres a link to one of his add: http://mohave.craigslist.org/cto/1234987977.html

Anyway, I was wondering if you guys thought the price seemed right, or if i could try to get him to drop the price down a bit more. Thanks

I bought basically the same exact truck with 88K on it for 1800 last year. it's worth about 1800 if the timing belt and other stuff has been changed on it.

If he were my friend, he would chop more than 400 off an already high priced truck.

If it matters, one of my buddies did the SAME thing for his first truck. Bought it with around 130k miles, single cab, bought from friend n everything for 1200.

the most id pay is 1750 if i had alot of extra money laying aruond, i bought a 94 toyota just the same thing as that basically the 22re and everything for a grand and it runs good, but it had 180k miles not the 170k he has. so ya i wouldnt pay a sent over 1750 on a good day even, if it was me buying id off 1500 if it was me selling id ask 1800 or 1900 to try and get some extra money out of it.

Apples and oranges... Toyotas are everywhere because they last forever. High mileage rangers are rare.. Lol

I just rallied our truck with the 3.4 toy engine in it and wow that has a lot more power then the 3.0 but I would never want to have less power now that I have driven it. 4cyl is a big "-" for me but to each there own.
