25k is a steal of a deal for that truck. that truck is proven to work awesome. there has to be over 40k worth of professional work done to that truck not to mention all the extras u get with it. if i didnt already have a truck and 25k to spend id buy it in a heartbeat. i cant wait to see what you build next. i know it will be awesome so i guess ill just have to wait

yeah. that third seat is a definite chick picker upper too. you should advertise that more ferociously. and like, add handcuffs to the back of the cage and advertise the third seat as the slut seat where you tie up your bitch and listen to her scream as you cruise like a cool guy in THE PIECE.

ya, well, thats how you picked me up anyways. haha, but notreally.

Ya its actually hard to put it up for sale and I will be sad when it goes because I have had that truck since it was BONE stock 4 years ago and had many good times with it and built it all by myself with some help from ESB Mike recently. Its NEVER left me stranded in the desert before. Its a good reliable truck.

Ya I dont even want to add up what the parts would be lol

Ya that 3rd seat is the key to the whole truck! lol

But I will be back with something BIGGER and BETTER and hopefully racing something with a 2##

i was thinking about this more and more....the pieces legacy will never die. even with a new owner...who doesnt race it...doesnt beat it often...there will be reported sightings of it, people will see it still breaking off flatbiller trucks on surprise occasions...who knows what will happen.

my good memories of the piece....

-being the first truck that i co-drove in a whole race season
-listening to "rockin in the freeworld" (the piece's favorite song) over and over and over in glamis, when it played that on a raondom selection cd over 5 times in a row.
-me and fish TRYING to break the truck for about 4 hours until our headsets flew off our heads and we just hurt...but the piece? couldnt tell anything different about it!
-working 16-20 hour days for 1-3 weeks at a time (no joke) getting stuff done to race...
-...like when we cut the truck in half and built the whole rear bedcage, 3 link, axle, and everything else from the cab back in 1 week, and showed up in lake havasu to race the DR 50.
-losing 1st place in its first race because the battery fell out...because they took the ratchet strap OFF and put a real battery mount in it...a ratchet strap now holds it in with no faliures
-nerfing EVERYTHING with the same bumper its had its whole life lol
-trolling for chicks with the HIDs and the headsets...and realizing that glamis sucks now without comp becuase there ARE no chicks
-seeing old pieces of The Piece still out in the desert on other trucks....
-...like the hood that the one girl used as a performance stage in holmes camp on the night i met the DR crew
-the conversation between matt and fish..."i said this is the highest tech state of the art machine known to mankind bitch, and you should feel lucky to ride in it!"
-learning almost everything i know now about racing, from preping it for a whole year every day.
-"los muchachos de dezert people!" lol. mexico in the piece is the best...the CODE night race with jeffe negro and klaus....classic
-chasing the piece around baja in the 500, watching families set their kids on it to take pictures because they thought it was the coolest truck out there (mexicans down there seriously flocked to the piece like a trophy truck)
    - driving a race with dan in it...with no clutch, no brakes, only a 1/4 throttle available, 0 visability, and stuck in second gear. wow.
-getting stuck in the sand dunes in glamis...that suckd but everything else about it was funny. "ive never dealt with tires like these before...."
-the corona bottle that was our overflow bottle
-building the fan shroud from hell lol
-tripping people out with the high tech interior "is that a rear view camera!?"

i could go on for days with this...all i have to say is that ill be sad if and when someone buys it...so were gonna put on one hell of a race in barstow we can assure you that.

Some day, future archealolgists will uncover the Piece...and wonder, what was this "piece"

what exactly did "what a joke" mean?

how did it pull so much tail?

how did it run with no gear oil in the diff?

shrines will be erected to the piece

and the boxed steel apendages that supported it,

unlike any steel known to the heavens

all they know is that is says 4130 on it

and it was set on kill

that was a nice hycu ryan.

i would be sad to see the piece go.

many memories going trolling for chicks on the bedcage, me and fish with girls on our laps driving to the dr 50 course at 3 am, the fucking thing breaking last years night race during my lap, ryan nerfing justin and getting stuck on his bumper, getting pulled over in hb after ror, and on and on.

yup thats it! im glad to see that everyonce in awhile....i still see pieces of the trucks former self trollin through the desert. we saw you at glamis one time and everyones all "hey..thats the pieces hood!"

yup. im sad man. i talked to the piece today, he feels pretty sad too. we had a good talk in the shop, and i said i was sorry for kicking him all those times, and he said that he's gonna put up one hell of a battle in a month to make us proud. wash that thing and put some paint on it, and its actually a pretty rad looking truck...its not even really fair to call it a piece anymore lol.

    Can someone pass the tissues......

Yeah, it was prob. end up like Dan's truck, somewhere where no one will really see it again. It would be great if someone bought it and continued to use it to it's fullest and maybe even continue to race it.

i think hes gonna take it easy for awhile, racing is expensive and from what i understand, its gonna be at least a year brake before starting a new venture.

damn...never thought i would see the day the piece would be up for sale...not as a joke. i am also saddeded to see this...... the legacy will live on, but it wont be the same without fish driving it.....watching that thing grow over the years has been something that all of us have enjoyed.......

my few but fond memories of the piece....

    - definatly the cooler mount scrapped together at the last second

-the trip to plaster city where tyson nerfed fish while fish was out of the truck..then he jumped in and nerfed tyson back and folded tyson's bumper back into the grill and broke tyson;s mono light.....and cant forget the infamous stock white f-150 that went bigger than everyone else that night.....WAJ

    - the whole life of the piece from stock to present...the videos that went with it all......

if i can find some1 to host them we should post those old videos up.....i have some that go pretty far back....

fish is there going to be one last desert trip for the piece....we should all head out to pay tribute to her...kind of like a going away party!!

Oh the slave cylinder line for the clutch sprung a leak so I had no clutch pedal pressure. Had to pull over. We didnt end up needing a tow truck, cuz the Franchise drove it home for us with his no clutch driving skills.

we were unsure until fish got a girlfriend, because the piece wouldnt have put up with that shit if he was a chick. most people have female cars and stuff, but the piece is more like a good buddy than a girlfriend, hes happier than ever when hes loaded down with fine young tail or on the prowl through the rows at olds hill, thats always been his calling.

the piece is THE race truck, in the "hey ladies, wanna ride in a race truck?" line.

havasu was rad. the piece got second to last in the race on our first time driving it with the new links on it, dan fell off the roof, and we watched girls gone wild on the pieces DVD player all night with 10 people sitting on it, the HIDs blaring into the little communities light, and there were no chicks to be found. finnally, we found two slivers, brought them to the compound, where johnny R decided to humiliate himself for the good cause of making us laugh our balls off. way to go for takin one for the team johnny.

man too many memories of the piece, definatley trolling in havasu with like 8 people haha and racing in the baja 500 is something i will never forget and feeling like a rockstar at tech/contingency with fishd00d signing authographs everywhere!

curious to see the piece's future and where he ends up.....

the pieces legacy will live on. itll be interesting. to whoever buys it...please just contact me before making changes so i can tell you if your fucking it up or not lol

as far as the ESB sponsorship included goes..thats no BS. i WILL sponsor the piece for the life of it in racing (NOT glamis and ocotillo...thats for pussies). if you race the piece...the sponsorship extends with pit support and good deals on parts. how many trucks can you buy that come with a fricken sponsorship attatched to them already? and come with a free paint job of your color? id say this is a good deal even though i really dont wanna see it go.

so just to clarify, your sayin that if I bought The Piece and I slammed it and put some spinner wheels on it and took it to car shows then no sponsorship??
