I thought XLT and torsion bar are mutually exclusive? No overlap? All XLT's are coil spring?

Yep, all XLT are coil spring. Torsion bar 2wd (Edge) and 4wd frames are identical. Coil sprung chassis is quite a bit different from the Edge/4wd frame from the cab forward. Here's my XLT for reference.
Relative to the control arms, the rack is quite a bit further forward on XLTs.

A lot different, edge/sport shares the frame of a a arm expo, these trucks are torsion bar suspension, the xlt is coil bucket.
The rack for an edge sits in the front control arm cradle, whereas the xlt bolts to the front of the control arm cradle.
I built a setup for John Walter years back for his xlt frame, look him up on Instagram and you’ll see the difference.

Yes there was 4WD xlt's BUT every 2wd XLT is coil sprung which is what they are talking about. Not a 4x4 or edge torsion bar ranger.
