Ok so today I made the engine side throttle cable bracket. I drilled/tapped the aluminum piece on throttle body for the control cable ball end. Also I bolted on the rear shocks to get started on the rear shock mounts. Needless to say my sick 1997 Toyota Tercel Daily Driver hs 217K miles and the starter stopped working. After push starting it for a week I finally am gonna break down tomorrow and get that fixed as well as do the timing belt and AC Compressor since the clutch failed on that, so gonna fix those items tomorrow.

That shock angle will never work. Are those 4.0s or 4.4?

So no update on that truck besides that I got a BMS Sway bar used from a local guy. And well got my tercel all done today except the starter will be done tomorrow afternoon to bolt back in. AC compressor clutch took a shit a few weeks ago shredding the belt for that and power steering. Been driving it like that for a while not but the starter finally stopped working so getting that rebuilt. Luckily it's a 5 speed so am able to bump start it myself and as long as I plan where I park it hasn't been a problem yet. Also car is 217K Miles and no idea when timing belt was done since it's the same stuff that was on the motor I got from junkyard years ago so did that with idler and tensioner pulley as well. So put that back together along with a new to me Ebay junkyard AC compressor new belt, oil change, valve cover w/tube seals and it's ready to go once starter goes back in.

OK got the tercel back together and everything is running great on it, happy it should last for another 200K miles with simple maintenance.

Now got back on the Ford today. started on the rear shock mounts. Will be installing 90's on the coilover resi hose at the top cap as well.

These are the mock up tabs I tacked into place so I can make the outer shock template with nothing moving. Then once outer plate is in and tacked in place I can remove it to do the inner plate.

I will cut the piece along the center of the down tube And add some vertical plate to gusset from shocks up to the top of the down bars.
I will also box them up to where my fingers are.
