Did some research and read some post on race dezert by dump and they are suggesting er70s-2 rod for stuff that will be heat treated after welding. I'm only welding the 2 pinch bung tabs on one end anyways so not worried about that affecting or needing to be very strong anyways.

I've seen and heard many mixed reviews about stress relief and parent / filler material. People like Craig hall say anything less than .250 wall is not a big deal, but in your case...from a metallurgy standpoint I would think er70 having more ductility would be favorable over 4130 rod if going heat treat.

Also any guesses how much that beam/radius arm weighs in at without uniball or heim? The beam is 1.75" x .120 Tube with 10ga plate and 3/16" plate at the ends. The radius arm long tube is 2" x .250 DOM and outer kick tube below shock mount is 1.75" x .120 DOM and all the plate on those is 3/16" besides doubler plate for coilover bolt which is 10ga steel. The radius arm tube is 45" long and beam puts track width at 94" wide as well.
