Ok been preoccupied with working on the house BUT i did work on the truck today to get it 1 step closer to being able to install the motor when it gets finished up in a week or two.

I boxed in the swinger to the tube today. Welded those up completely, as well as the transmission crossmember and transmission mount. I then primered all of them so I can get the paint on it next week when I get back from working on the house again this weekend. Also got the front hubs all cleaned up, painted, and new bearings/races installed ready for reassembly as well.

Ok no photo update since it looks the same BUT i got another couple coats of steel-it on the engine cage and also painted the frame rails, link pivots etc back to about 1 foot behind them. I will have to reassemble all the suspension and get the wheels/tires on the truck and then make some solid shocks to imitate ride height so when the new shop is wired and ready to move into I can move this beast outside to start loading everything up for the big move

Ok got another coat of black steel-it on the engine cage and frame under the cab. Reassemled the rear suspension with the correct heims/spacers ,hardware and new wheel bearings/seals to get that as a roller so I can load it on my trailer in 3 weeks to move into my new shop. Also made some solid shock spacer thing to keep the truck at ride height to load onto my trailer easier. Black pipe with some old tabs welded on each end.

They are 3/16" tabs with about 1" of weld down the sides AND the ends. Also not 2:1 ratio and will be somewhat lighter then 4K since no gas or anything besides motor/trans/t-case installed on the chassis. I'm not worried about them breaking but I am sure that comment could bite me in the ass later.

Ok well majority of my time this past month has been getting my new shop/house ready to move into by the end of this month. Motor is coming back from the builder tomorrow, then some paint on that thing and assemble some items and then mate transmission to it and reinstall. I never posted photos of the engine cage all painted up. Welded some TMR Customs zip tie tabs for the wiring and masked off the raptor liner on the firewall and shot it and the frame under the cab to behind the link pivots as well.
