Looking for some input from you guys, I recently purchased a mid travel vw buggy. It has 2.5x1 arms up front with 8" coilovers. Is it worth going to 4x1.75" or is the travel differences minimal?

In mine and my dad's baja we noticed a significant difference, as long as the 4" arms are built strong enough (our first set bent at the middle) I would say it's definitely worth it

I'll post some tonight. I'm pretty positive they are +2.5. If that is the case, I'll be in the market for some +4 arms

I've been itching to build some arms, so looks like I'll be doing that soon. What is the disadvantage of going bigger than 4x1?

My guess would be keeping them together. Guys that race have problems with cracking the 4 over arms.

Came across these the other night. They seem giant! But as long as they're built strong they should be fine. Only problem i see is all the leverage from hanging that far sideways out of the beam. Then you need to get into double shearing.
