I would have tried to run it off the upper arm. Tied it in with that upper shock mount.
Aslong as it works!

Well it was clean, then doofus from last install welded another pad on top of the one that BRS already put in there.

Yeah wanted to bump off upper but didn’t have the funds for a gnarly engine cage.

It snowballs pretty quick, mounting it to bump off the upper arm. Gotta cut into the inner fender, relocate a bunch of crap...

2/11/21 bolt in motor tube glued in and it’s all done . Also! Thought you guys might get a kick out of the old shock hoops ...

There are beads here and there where it looks like he can put down a decent weld if he cared, but he was busy cutting corners to get your truck in and out as fast as possible.
Both suck when you're a paying customer, but I'll take ignorant shitty fab over someone willfully half-assing the job.
