Also, if you make the rad fill from the bottom and pull from the top, you can starve the pump unless it’s completely topped off with water. My sand car came that way and temps were all over the place. Swapped hoses around and muuuuuch better
Thanks for the reply’s. I posted this question on glamis sandrail forum too because there are more Subaru guys there. They said it wouldn’t work and the water pump would cavitate so I guess I will plumb it the hard way.
The Baja is running good and is a blast to drive with the horsepower doubled. I will probably Leave it how it is this year so I can start focusing on my chinook.
I added another leaf to the rear packs since last time we used it it had way too much Cali lean going on with a trailer.
Hoping to get the paint and body work done this year and some interior. Needs basically everything inside including replacing the floor.
