Oh hell yes! I like the simple cab cage—it reminds me of mid-90’s cages. Especially with the light paint color!

Tailgate retention is gonna pull sooooo much ass!

Well done.

Thanks,
everyone knows chicks love tailgates LOL
The goal of this truck is realistically 90% driving to work and errands with the occasional off road trip.

It is almost the exact cage as my truck that i built in 96 but this time i tried harder to keep all the luxuries like interior, carpet, gauges, AC, heat defrost, wipers, cruise control, smog legal and a usable bed

I knew I wanted to keep the tailgate all along. I hated always crawling over the spare tire and trying to load coolers and gear in and out. The tailgate is a ready to go seat and table.

That is awesome!

How did you make the tight roof cage welds? Drop the cage? Always like to hear how people do the cage.

I just weld as far around as i can get it. The 4 corners are 90-95% around. The rear gussets 75% . Its all .120 DOM and will never race

How far away is your closest metal supplier??
Our welding shop in town gets a delivery every thursday so if i get my order in by wednesday it will be there next day. Its 3 miles from my house, mammoth is pretty small.
