Did the cardboard thing where you draw lines at full bump and full droop and made a makeshift shock mount in the place where they both intercept. Its angled at about 78 degrees drooped, 63 degrees bumped and about 18 3/4" travel. Is this a good angle? I've seen some say 90 degrees at bump but then I would lose a lot of travel right? Any input is appreciated!

You want it to approach 90 degrees at bump for *optimal* performance. That's where the controversy lies with having your shocks leaning backwards with leaf springs. But screw it, they'll work great the way you have them, too.

It looks closer to 90 than 68 degrees in the picture. Are you measuring shock to floor or shock to leaf spring?

We just put the meter on it from the floor, now I understand the 90° meaning. We are going to put it at full bump, zero the meter on the flat springs or straight edge, then measure it and try it at 90 then.

Honestly I’d say you’re good to go. But it wouldn’t hurt to see what it is.

I agree. Run it. Unless you're going to spend a ton of time tuning and getting everything spot on, I'd rather have the full travel instead of shocks perfectly at 90deg.

Since your 1-1 on the motion ratio, leaning them a little forward like that will not hurt anything. You have plenty of shock on it.
Thats what I was thinking I think im just going to leave it where it is, maybe make a quick measurement at 90 but I think it looks fine.

Well not much progress recently, but schools almost done so back to hopefully finishing this thing up in a few months. Anyone headed down to mcneil racing that can pick up some bedsides and meet somewhere like kartek, corona, ie, high desert areas?
