Lookin good bud. Is that landing pad big enough? I can see the bump sliding off it while articulating. I've seen it happen and the axle got stuck like that because the bump got caught on the lip of the pad
Thank you! They worked before being 1.75” tube and it only took a little bit of the back part of the delrin off the bumpstop striker. Hopefully what I added will help and be enough. In retrospect I should have bumped off the axle tube and made a larger bump pad. I think it would have helped prevent my axle tubes from bowing as well.
My bumps scrub a 2” (fore-aft) by 3” (left right) area on my bumpstrike pads.

Leaf springs allow the axle to move around quite a bit.
dam thats a big striking area, I have 2” stroke bumps, are yours longer?

So I finally have time and decided to convert to lower mount reservoirs with yalls encouragement.
I am going to plug the shock body caps.

Then I am going to weld this bung onto the shock body.

My question is; where is the best spot for the reservoir on the shock body.
It looks like Fox has it as low as possible, just above the sealhead.

Then King has it higher, at the same level as the compression return tube.

Anywhere between the seal head and the piston at full droop.

There are some advantages to mounting it higher but also some things that you really need to pay attention to or bad things will happen. Play it safe and keep it in the spacer zone.

Thanks for the info.
Ill probably start with N2 at 150 psi.
Down from 250psi.
As of now 10s on comp seems stiff. With all tubes fully open.
I have 8s on rebound

I have been slacking on making the aforementioned changes.
I will need some new reservoir hoses made.
Are there any negative impacts from having a longer reservoir hose?
Currently it is about 14”
Im thinking around 26”.
Piggyback mounting is not an option because of frame and bumpstop clearance.
Thanks

I got all the parts from car tech to do my reservoir horses and it was super easy to make them you just need a vice and two wrenches. Mine are about 20 in long each and I haven't had any issues
