Any advice on going 3 " or 6" front fender flair with a BTF midtravel kit and 33 x 12.5s for a 2004 ranger. Anyone running this or similar set up.

Everything is long lead these day and am ordering parts all at one. Don't mind if with 3" flair the tires stick out a little bit and also don't want 6" if tires will be way under the flair...

any input appreciated

Agreed. Not sure what the kit is but full long travel I would say 6 and uppers and a shock I would go 3. Not a fan of huge glass on a narrow lifted truck

BTFs mid travel is +3 like you said. Im sure your stepping up to a wider and taller tire? Also if you plan to run lift spindles or stock spindles? The MaxTrac spindles for your truck are another 1/2” wider per side. Id run 4.5 or 6” glass depending on what manufacturer of glass.

I ran 3" flare fenders with 33x12.5s, 4.5 backspacing wheels, and a Camburg 5.5 kit. I still rubbed the hell out of the fenders. You'll be even wider. Go 6"

Ya i cut my fender way back where it comes in at the firewall/door. Only way to clear 33s with out width.

Horrible pics but should give you an idea.... drivers side is with btf mid travel kit with lift spindles, passenger side is btf kit with camburg 5.5 spindle. 33x12.5x15 tires and what im told is 3.5 inch fenders.

Can get back to you to verify but if memory serves me right about 77 inches outside to outside of tire with lift spindles with btf mid kit.
