Pretty sure they are heat treated spindles. Junk it!

You can get new ones from Bronco graveyard if you can't get to a junk yard...

Lower shock mounts before the holes. I did get around to drilling them and added some shape to them but forgot to take pics again lol

Well I’m back from going full ghost mode for the last 2ish months, been way too distracted with desert trips and work to get anything done on the truck... up until 2 weekends ago when I made some progress on the bedcage vvv

I originally plannd on welding the cage straight to the frame but decided to get some of those fancy tube connectors to make it bolt in. Also laid some steel it on my axle and damn that stuff is cool looking too bad it’s 20 something $ per can...

Pics of the distractions that ruined my steady progress on the truck vvv

Getting closer to final assembly on the rear end and I want to coat the bed but linex is out of my budget, has anyone tried the roll in or spray in bed liners? If so how’d it turn out compared to a professional linex coating?

Final assembly on the rear end is under way and I’m freakin stoked! It’s a great feeling setting the truck on its own weight. Next on the to do list is get a 1310-1350 conversion u joint, brake line, breather hose and my best/first attempt at rebuilding and valving the shocks.
