So I still haven’t done crap-all… I was just kinda thinking about something. Based on reading and learning. But the 10” shocks I got have the collars way down, I was wondering if they do that to compensate for not a heavy enough spring… or to try and cure a harsh bottoming issue off jumps?

Springs for 10" shocks are a challenge. When you get a heavy enough spring it usually coil binds at full bump. Eibach uses stronger steel than most so there springs have more travel. Coil bind should be the first thing you check. Then valving.
