Sold my 2001 silverado to buy a diesel, now its time to build a dirt only truck. I bought this 1995 s10 off my cousin for $500. It was his pool service truck for the last 18 years and the clutch went out so he bought a toyota. The S10 has a 4.3 with a 5 speed. Everything on the truck will be sold besides cab and frame. I plan on building equal length beams and a four link, and powering it with a 5.3 and th400. here are some pics of the little thing.

Why are you starting with an s10 if you are going to strip everything off it to a bare chassis for beams and a different motor? Seems like a ranger/f150 cab and frame would of been an easier platform to start with.

I really wanted to build a ranger, but i was dealing with lots of craigsflakes and prices were to high . i think it would be cool to keep this truck in the family. Single cab will also be a fun experiment
