Tilt it in a little more if you can. It's 90* from the pivots, not the top of the arm. If you drew a line between the pivot and the shock bolt, you want to be 90* to that.

Thank you so much. Also for the bump should it strike the bump plate at a certain angle?

Bump can go a little less than 90* to the bump pad. Mock it up and see what makes it slide on the pad the least. Usually about 90* to the pivot line at half stroke.
