My vote is:
  1. Windshield A (front intrusion) : 1.25 x .120
  2. Rear Cab C Pillar X Bracing: 1.75 x.120
  3. Rear Side Windows/Side Intrusion Diagonals Upper and Lower 1.5 x .120
  4. Perimeter floor tubes connecting ABC 1.75 x.120
  5. Horizontal floor tubes connecting D side with P side (2) 1.25-1.5 x .120
  6. Door intrusion diagonals/seat tubes/door tubes (whatever the fuck they're called). 1.25-1.5 x .120
  7. Harness Tube/B Horizontal 1.5x.120
you can sub a larger, thinner wall for a smaller diameter, thicker wall for any of the above

^^^very similar to the OD’s of stuff on my toyota.

Here’s what the Turboyota has:
All of it is 4130

Windshield anti-intrusion /\ : 1.25x0.065”
Seat tubes: 1.25x0.065”
Floor bars connecting A-B pillar: 1.75x0.095”
Diagonals at rear firewall/window: 1.5x0.058”
Seatbelt tube: 1.75x0.095”

Shock mounts, bump mounts, or any tube in bending: 1.75x0.120”


Bumpers: welded seam poor people tube

i was going to say once I looked up 1.75 x .095 strength and weight versus 1.5 x .120... i started using more .095. on the truck where I would have tried to sneak in some smaller tube

Seems like only time I don't prefer the thinner tube like .095 tube is if I would need to sleeve it, or if I think it needs dent or bending resistance.

Is harness bar needed? I go straight to c-pillar with my harness

You know what tube this guy used? 1.75x .120 everywhere. I think we calculated 80lb difference to the turboyota. Safe to say swappigg drivers was about the same difference. Not worth the hassle to me
