So. I had a dilemma. I have a threaded plug in my engine block that I want out for cleaning purposes. I didn't have the tool or the money to buy the tool. So I made one. Please feel free to post your homemade tools and reasons for making such tools.
Yes. Tight as fuck. Yes. The chinks make it cheaper. But, im okay with having a homemade tool not work. I don't have time to fuck around with the chinks. I'll rather pay the machine shop to get it out.
Not truck related to trucks but I am about to swap a seadoo 255hp engine into a pair of jetskis that originally came with 160hp. The new engines require a bigger driveshaft that requires a bigger thru hull fitting. This is a liner bearing from mcmaster carr with a swag offroad notcher super shaft and an adapter plate that bolts in place of the stock thru hull bearing.
It fits milwaukee hole saw arbors or the big forstner bits.
