I got a few more tubes done. And set up a temp shock mount to see the location while I finish out the engine cage.

Took Bodj and Barge’s idea of making some stubs off the upper arm tabs to land tubes on. These will get boxed in to the top of the frame.

Could use some input on the tube lay out moving forward. These tubes will have the shock mount tabs built off them.

Option A

Option B

Option C

A. And box those to the frame.

B and C both tie the bumper into the cage in a wierd way. Smacking the bumper on the ground could be bad with the loads transmitted straight into the cage.

Finished up the shock mounts on the passenger side and just about wrapped up the driver side. With the extra clearance on the upper arm I was able to get the kit to cycle 18” metal to metal clean with no binding on uniballs or tie rods. I will strap it around 17”. Before the crash the kit was bumped and strapped at 15 3/4” because the truck was originally built with the inner fender core supports intact which limited bump travel.
