so you are just using a big thick tube inside the snouts to make sure it is straight???

I was going to send my housing to Tubeworks because I am afraid i have no idea how to make sure it is straight.. or keep it straight!

For the most part. There's an old center section with machined pieces in the bearing caps to hold the tube and then machined sleeves inside the snouts to line them up.

Proper way to get the snouts to fit is using a 4-jaw lathe and offset machine them but I don't have that so I used a burr King.

Not sure yet. I picked my TW housing up off RDC.

The snouts are just tacked in. I have to get a quote and get it up to them.
