Went through my parts shed and found the 3rd member I had taken out because the pinion support had cracked. Gears look good. The carrier has a tru-trac locker in it.

Went to the yard. Was lucky enough to find a van with my axles (these econolines are getting scarce)

Putting it all through an electrolysis bath and then I'll take it all to the machine shop to have them wash them and press the old bearings out.

I've had a nodular 3rd member laying around for years I've been waiting to use, so good there. Just need the rebuild kit now

That's awesome you can find an econoline rear axle at a junk yard. I want to find one and people want 3-500 for them now and none to be found in the junkyards. Sucks about your 3rd but it is a common failure on the stock carriers that the main cap break destroying everything. Happened to a friend when he was loading his truck on trailer and gassed it to go up over the fender.
