Concept is badass, but almost seems like it was designed by a team that has never driven off-road before. Electric motors are on the wheel ends? Holy fucking unsprung weight!

Nah, you can see the motors are inboard and there are cvs. I think the ground clearance looks low becuase the pictures were taken in tall grass, it also has 32" tires.

That's how a lot of electrics are. That's how you get regenerative braking.
I understand that. As you said, electric CARS. This is an off-road toy, performance is going to severely suffer because of it. Who knows, but regenerative braking might not be worth having on this application. The amount of electricity generated probably doesn't outweigh the performance loss associated with it.
