I hate taking these hubs apart! Anyone need a cir clip?! The spindle gusset was only welded, poorly, on one side. Burned it in right with some 312 filler. Felt pretty good with the TIG torch today.

Painted a ton of parts and ordered the paint, a fresh Toyota rack and pinion ($$$) and $200 worth of hardware and misc BS small parts.

The wife is going on a girls trip in a few weeks. I’ll have 3 wife free days to hammer in this thing. Trying to make sure I have all the parts I need not have to leave the house.

Pups needed a nap in the yard after their nap in the garage

I am also curious if anyone has any experience with the summit racing single stage paint. I've been looking at it as well and like the orange options they have.
I've used and it and can say its worth the money. After a wet sand and polish it came out pretty nice and seemed to hold up decent after a couple years in the sun.

Any ideas what to do with these other than toss them? Old school Baja Designs Solteks. With the quality of China lights these days, I’m probably just going to go that route. The China LED’s I had on the Jeep were more than adequate.

We bought 6 of them for $100 mounted on a light bar. Guess they are not really worth much anymore... This was at the curt swapmeet. I think it was 2 swaps ago.

if you have them, why not use them?

ive always been partial to that style lighting just for looks.
The light output was pretty pathetic. Seemed marginally better than the high beams. I was thinking of doing a HID conversation, but couldn’t find anything that wasn’t “universal” and would to be a lot of work. Time is my biggest commodity these days and I want this thing in the dirt by 2022.
