Decided to start a build thread so I have a place to ask questions. I traded a RZR xp900 for this buggy + cash a week ago. So far I like it a lot, but have a lot planned for it. Basic overview is
•fresh 2180 with dual delortos
•Built 002 with weddle everything. Close 1st-4th
•3x3's
•+6 beam with +2.5 arms
And other basics. It has 8" coilovers in front and had 10's in the rear when I got it.
Plans for now are, redo the rear part of the cage from the A pillar back. Ditch the 10's in the rear and go with 2.5x14 kings. Add hydraulic bumps in the rear that I have laying around. Get rid of the gusseted link pin spindles and go combo. Switch to methods and super diggers in the rear and put the centerlines and Yokohama 720's in front.

Did I read that right? You traded your RZR that's worth probably 11k PLUS cash for this thing?
Haha no, I got cash with the trade. The RZR just wasn't my thing!

Sweet man! The way that post was worded, I was gonna say... I got beach front property for sale in Nebraska if you are interested. lol

Mini 12 was a fun little car, it was no truck though. :)

Yeah I know, but my wife gets motion sickness in anything with a closed cab off-road. So I am stuck being a buggy dork

Got a little bit done on the car. It's hard since it gets dark so early.

Have quite a few support tubes and gussets to add. Should be solid when I'm done!

I had to notch the frame to avoid having the top shock mount stick too far off the frame. Still have to plate it in.

you may want to consider doing a half sleeve on the inside of the tube, that looks like a big chunk removed.
