Picked this thing up a couple of years back after I sold my 95 F-1, I wanted a base that I could build up as a do it all/ overland rig/ go medium-fast/ daily driver/ tow pig that'd be fun, reliable, and get half decent mileage lol. Luckily, this thing just fell into my lap after my pops decided that he wanted to ditch it for the cushy ride of a half ton. I picked the truck up in basic slt form with 150k, a puck level, blown out stock shocks, and some SIKK rockstars, basically stock in every other way besides some vatozone/ eBay shit.

Here's a pic of my old rig next to this nasty bitch right before I made the switch:

Fast forward a couple of years, and the truck's gone through a pretty decent change.

Suspension wise, the truck's riding on 3" Thuren soft ride coil springs, Thuren adjustable track bar, Stryker extended DOM control arms, Synergy steering brace, Mopar 08.5 T steering with a King/ Thuren IFP steering stabilizer, 5100's on all 4 corners, and a mag hytec rear Dif cover. The rear end is bone stock for now.

Wheels and tires are CJC Offroad/ Raceline avengers (17x9 +20) on 37x12.50r17 Nitto Ridge Grapplers. Added a pic of my trimming/ fender mod for reference. truck gets full lock and cycles well.

Engine/ Drivetrain wise, the things bone stock with 180k! Besides a couple parts falling off, an MBRP stainless catback, an injen intake, and some tuning (thing gets 20 on the highway even with 37's lol)

Interior wise, the truck has a full heated/ leather swap, full system, 4th ten center console, srt10 pilar with a factory match trans gauge, and a wiringproducts.com switch panel for all the Baja Designs goodies..

Exterior wise, the truck has some custom tails/ 3rd brake light that I built, 4th gen tailgate, oem 4th/5th gen blackout badges, full Laramie sport color match, new heads, tint, and some Baja Designs goodies. The front bumper's stuffed with a 30" onx6 arc with CJC mounts, amber squadron sport fogs, and an amber s2 sport as a dust light with an SDHQ universal billet mount.

And here's a photo dump. I'll grab some better pictures eventually. This is all I had on my phone/ instagram for the moment haha

In the future, I'd love to throw some parts at the rear end. Either Carli/ Thuren full leafs with shackles and some helper bags. It also needs some decent shocks, thinking some 2.5 fox's or the Carli pintop kit. Besides that, it's pretty sorted and by FAR the favorite vehicle I've owned.

Alright dudes, finally figured out how to post pictures properly lolol. Flickr is a learning curve since the photo bucket fiasco.

Here's some actual half decent pictures of the truck and some updates!

Not bad for some cast junk! Should look killer with the rings I ordered from Marcel and some fresh grade 8!

This truck is looking Fresh!! I love it. Something a little different up in here. What did you use to cut and polish the wheels. I use zephyr 40 but polish my wheels all by hand. Looking into getting the wheels back to a mirror finish, but having a hard time finding a machine that is small enough to fit in small spaces and crevices that automotive wheels have.

appreciate it dude! it’s very mild compared to most everything on here, but it’s something different!
For the wheels, I cut the rough stuff with some 320 discs on an orbital, then went by hand from 400-2000. Then, unconventionally, I did a quick rough cut with a high speed buffer, red foam pad, and some generic metal polish. Then I went in with some white/ red rouge and a cotton buffing wheel from ace. the buffing wheels kickass for the barrels/ lips of wheels! I used a mother’s cone for the lug holes and really small bits too. I’m no polished, but they came out alright lol

Man I'm so jealous of those polished robbies! I couldn't find any for my silverado, so I just got the Chinese black ones.

I was also wondering who Marcy was cutting out those rings for haha

Dude I lucked out with these things! A guy had them listed super poorly in reno under “ram 2500 rims” for $350 BUCKS. Hit him up immediately, cruised up, and he gave me $50 for gas. Ended up with a set of og robbys for 3 bills, stupid luck haha.

lol yeah dude! Just hit him up yesterday or something. They’ll look mean with some black powder!

Doood your lucky I didn’t see those first, they would look good on my 97 f250. Hell of a score, every once in a while I find good deals on Reno C-list but not much lately.
