I moved out here to the South of Carolina from the desserts of Arizona and they have little to no off-road reaching out here except for swamp donkeys (rediculous awesome mud trucks) and some jeeps and quads/bikes. NO PRERUNNER or Desert Race Vehicles! I joined the SCCA and started doing some rallycross but realized they a Baja truck would do well in RallyX as well as stage rally.
So I got a 97 4cly ranger and this is what happens

Of course my girlfriend who is from here said "WTF you mean it's painted flat black now?!"
Apparently they don't understand the Bros code of murder out the PRERUNNER

I went back home to the drawing board, got on the interwebs and found some deals on some entry level upgrades

Some shocks, 456:1 gears, Springs and a new "race" clutch +master cylinder (fuck you forever and your bullshit)

Please forgive the typos. I absolutely hate autocorrect.
Anyway... I entered the next RallyX I could! That wasn't enough. One tire fire didn't get the job done!

So I went to the junk yard and find some 64' Chevy springs for like 50$ and got all up in there with the RED spray paint!

And had to do some research and relocation of the mounts

In the meantime... Found out where that intoxicating aroma of petrol was coming from

Now the ride height was better, and the ass end wasnt hopping around like a goddam bucking bronco on every turn!

And my girls little girl helped me pick a mascot

Decided on the next upgrade... And I have to tell you, I've used Miller, I've used Lincoln, Hobart, whatever. NEVER have I used a machine with an arc as smooth at the SnapOn Muscle Mig. Hands down! If you ever get the chance to use one, do it, let me know what you think!
