Diggin' how low it sits.
Thanks man! I was trying to keep it low to keep the center of gravity down. It turns out to be 1 inch lower and almost 1ft wider than stock.

I was watching some videos today on insta and YouTube of open desert prerunners and class 7 trucks today, I'd roll one over in the first run! Hahahaha

Looks like a trailer park pro lite. I like the low stance. You achieved something great. Lower and wider with a significantly bigger tire than stock. Way to keep it out of the beaner fab section.

Few small updates...
Bought some gears, spool, full install set, and new alternator from amazon, cheaper than the just the gears and spool from everywhere else I looked

Took tur-bro’s advice and got the 4.86
Installed it on the floor of my garage
. Did pretty well for first time taking apart a 9in. Sooooooooo much easier than a 7.5 or 8.8. No laying on my back under the truck cussing at the backlash shims!

Got in for a speed run around the block... something not quite right.
Got back, looked at the box
fuck!

Then today I took the truck for a run around town. It did awesomely! It does wander a bit and over choppy country dirt roads it tends to step out a bit from time to time. Maybe not enough weight in the back? Anyway, literally one block from my house I ducking caught on fire

Pulled into a parking lot when I noticed it. Some dude comes walking up out of no where while I’m trying to beat the fire out with a blanket and says super nonchalantly “son. Reckon you might need a f’re ‘stinguish’r fer that one?”
