I run radnor wire or prostate or whatever welding shop has. I had to run some Vulcan wire when I ran out of a weekend. Didnt notice any difference other than price per lb was almost double my airgas supply cost.

I’ll see what airgas wants for wire. I’ve run radnor wire before too without issue, but last time they tried to get like $50 for a 10lb spool.

I don’t have a commercial account, so I can only get the regular guy pricing.

I like the airgas stuff. I can't remember what it's called. Eagle or E2 or something like that?

For welding stuff, I like the Vulcan TIG gloves. Very supple, but the thumb is a bit long for my hands.

ive been wanting to pick up one of those new pelican-like cases they have...anyone have one?
I have 2 of the 3800 and picked up 1 of the 4800 but haven't used it for anything yet. I used some 3m glue to glue the foam together after picking it out for my needs. Haven't thrown it around much to see how it holds up, but I dig it so far. Haven't put a hot pistol in it either.

Thanks. All I did was pull out some pre-cut foam lol. Didn't build a truck or anything that takes some real skill.

i'm using the vulcan wire on the vulcan migmax 225 right now.
The torch is kinda lousy (uncomfortable) but it all welds fine for my very-average-fab skills

I have been scooping up some of their new LEDs and I like them a lot, especially for the price.

I have a couple of these, might pick up another 2 so I can have two for the truck and two for my toolbox.

I bought one of these to keep in the truck, also. Charges in the cigarette lighter.

I use one of these when I'm welding in a dark area, like inside a wheel well. I don't care if weld splatter gets on it, and there's multiple ways to mount it so it's pretty versatile.

Although, I will probably get one of these to replace it. I like how it swivels so you can aim the light.

I use this headlight. Works great!

H.f. Wire is inconsistent. Welds ok then pops and splatters. Costs almost twice as much as Washington alloys wire from i.m.s.
The Washington alloys seems to weld almost as good as the Lincoln and Hobart stuff.
