Well I sprayed atf/acetone in there and let us soak for half the day. Then it still wouldn't move but starter to wiggle a bit so did that again. Then this evening it was moving a tiny bit more so I used a flathead screw driver and was prying on it and it was moving, then it went free BUT the shaft didn't move so I'm afraid I broke the lever. Luckily I never used the power quill on my old lathe on the 5 years I had it so I'm sure I'll be fine without it and will tear into it one day in the future if I'm so inclined to get it working.
Ok I bought and installed a 2nd 2 post lift as well and installed my atlas 12k lift. Got them both wired up and working. Now to organize some more stuff in the shop and find new homes for a few tools. Also found a good deal on the Komatsu Forklift that needed starter rebuilt, Tilt cylinders resealed, Sidce shift cylinder resealed and 1 new hydraulic hose for the side shift cylinder
Ok so it's not an off-road trip but I got my new house/shop compound up and running in Lucerne Valley on May 14th no set time but thinking around Noon and gonna do some tacos around 5 or so. If you want to camp on the property feel free since I got around 2 acres of open space to setup tents...
Current project is for my friend Caleb. 99 Mazda B4000 4x4. Btf front LT kit. I'm swapping in an expo 8.8 out back and remount the battery in a box in the bed. Then removing the shock hoops up front and making shock towers, cross brace, mounting air bumps and straps. Then building new tube inner fenders and mounting up all that stuff along with trimming the fiberglass to clear at full bump.
