Most guys use a scotchbrite pad and 90* air grinder. The giant sanding stone is a machinist thing. Stone will get it flatter and show the high spots better.

If you have a bunch of monkeys working in your shop, you will be stoning the tables everytime you pull a vice or fixture off. If you have guys that give a shit and keep things clean, it gets done like every 6 months to a year.

There's one less than ten minutes away.

I can order, wait 20 minutes, drive over, its ready at the will call!

Park 20ft from the door, no line, cant beat it.

Needed a way to hold the axle in on the long side. The Exploder stubs are to short for a circlip groove so I taped the end for a retaining plate.

And in it's home. As soon as MMC gets here with the proper length bolts I will button it up

The tripod joint "should" have enough angle to deal with this. Plunge is only about 5/8" so that shouldn't be an issue. This is about 3/4" smaller OD than a 930. Space is at a premium down there.
